Welcome!
Congratulations, readers!
You are some of the few people who know the existence of Aurebesh. If you have done your research, there are not many padawans who read Aurebesh. However, there is hope! I recently (11/26/17) learned that by the end of December in 2015, the interest of Aurebesh in Google Search had hit its highest point. What caused such a growth of interest?
Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But why did this movie bring a new interest in the text that has been so obscure that all the other times only reach 45% of what the new record interest? My theory is because of "Raey." Think about it. No one had heard of Rey or who she was, and the name written on the side of her helmet may have caused many Star Wars fans to look up and discover Aurebesh for the first time. And with Star Wars: The Last Jedi coming in December 2017, that interest may spike again.
For anyone who shows interest in pursuing reading Aurebesh in great or small steps, I now am offering stories, pictures, and courses to help fuel your determination to read Aurebesh.
I am working on writing a story called Broken Barriers. The book-to-be features two characters who write to each other in the Latin alphabet and the Basic alphabet, also known as Aurebesh. You can visit the Broken Barriers page to check up on the progress of the story or click on the latest download provided on the right. Please note: All chapters will be provided as a download from a Word document due to lack of support online for the Aurebesh font.
The Mission page introduces what I wish to accomplish on my YouTube channel, Facebook page, and Memrise course. This section will tell you my goals and plans for this site along with other media.
The purpose of the Copyright page is to ensure that everyone understands that this is an unofficial Star Wars fan page. And while I would appreciate some extra cash in my pocket, I certainly don't want to have it because of this site. All the original content is owned by Disney, and I don't want to infringe on their rights.
